Good morning darling readers. As I type this the boys are setting sail in their bedroom as they play pirates and I am scattering scrunched up tissues all about the house as I meander about sipping tea and trying to make a coherent thought.
On Sunday my beloved husband threw me a surprise 30th birthday party at a friend's house (ummm, technically it was in their barn, same spot where he proposed and the setting of our first "date"). It was wonderful to be surrounded by friends and family. It was a chilly day but the warmth, laughter and love of those around me kept me warm. Thank you for all of you who came out to make my special day so memorable and thank you Matthew for the many ways you show me that you love me -
whether it is by doing a load of laundry, reading to the kids, massaging my feet, helping me organize the nursery nook, working so I can be at home with the kids, or planning a party in my honor you really know how to sweep a girl off her feet. I love you babe!I realize with each passing day how much closer I am to holding a precious baby in my arms.
The excitement is uncontrollable at time. I cannot wait to meet this little blessing. Nesting is going into over drive as I organize the nursery nook in our room. All of the bedding and clothing are washed and neatly folded on an adorable wicker shelf next to the cradle. As the baby bounced and kicked my belly last night I told them all about their room, their special blankets made by friends, the cute clothes awaiting to be filled by a snuggly, baby body, and loving arms who anxiously await to embrace this new life. I get all teary thinking about it! :)With the nesting instinct also come a major organizing/purging urge as well.

I have been tackling the basement for weeks and each time I think I am finished I find more stuff to get rid of. Here is a great list from http://www.organinzingyourway.net that is beneficial if you are finding organizing overwhelming. Another fun place to glean ideas is over at Organizing Junkie's blog. Sit back with a pen and paper and take some notes... I am sure you will be inspired.

So, in between sneezing, sipping tea, picking up my scattered tissues and school I will be flitting from organizing to nesting to snuggling my boys. When I have a cold I have a hard time focusing on one project for very long... my brain is just too fuzzy. Away I go to begin many projects but probably finish none of them completely, that is the joy of being sick. :)
Blessings to you my dear readers!
Love,
Dawna
